Rescue dogs provide important services in difficult times.

Rescue dogs are there with their handlers when disaster strikes. In an earthquake or bombing these animals are essential to locating injured people who may be trapped or buried and in need of urgent care.

After 9/11 rescue dogs searched the World Trade Center area of lower Manhattan for hopeful signs of life. Unfortunately, their arduous and grueling search didn't uncover many survivors. Still these dogs had a job to do, and they worked hard and tirelessly.

Rescue dogs, are working dogs and have been bred to be the hard working steadfast animals that they are.
